Welcome! I’m James Gregory, the Head of Delivery.

The Delivery team prides itself on delivering value to Birmingham’s citizens, businesses and colleagues by making great digital products and services happen. We have a strong track record of delivering large, complex things like Birmingham’s clean air zone and the supporting technology for the Commonwealth Games. But we are also expanding our reach into end to end service and product design and development with digital technology playing a key role in addressing the needs of our customers. Our field worker platform ‘Birmingham Guardian’ has received acclaim as a game changer for the city and indeed other local authorities too.

We are constantly exploring ways to add value for our citizens and our forthcoming ‘early intervention and prevention’ initiative will showcase how we can apply digital thinking to support the most vulnerable people in our city – helping them to avoid getting into crisis situations.

We have a passionate commitment to developing our own people an a number of our project managers have already made the transition to agile delivery approaches. We are now looking to supplement the team with experienced delivery managers and scrum leaders – people who can take our adoption of multi-disciplinary teams to the next level.
